Since its founding in 2019, I have partnered with Aperio Philanthropy to provide embedded marketing leadership as an independent contractor.
Our peer-to-peer marketing strategy prioritizes elevated brand collateral and cultivating a community of fundraising professionals through events and shareable content.
I led the brand design process and continue to drive creative direction for the brand. For the first few years, I managed all of Aperio’s marketing. As the company has grown and Aperio has established its own marketing operations, I have shifted to a primarily creative role—and to providing design support for Aperio’s clients.
Aperio Events & Social Media
From its inception, Aperio has aimed to be more than a consultancy. They’re working to transform the nonprofit sector for the better by elevating voices, and providing thought leadership, for systemic change.
Aperio’s events, Fearless Fundraisers blog, and email newsletter offer nonprofit leaders and fundraisers a place to come together, access and share resources, and work together to build a more equitable and just world—starting from within their own organizations.
I design the artwork, promote, and manage communications for Aperio’s events and digital content, including copy editing all articles.
